Meeting "The Sustainable Digital Future of Healthcare, Zreče, Slovenia

At the professional meeting "The Sustainable Digital Future of Healthcare", held on November 9 and 10, 2023 in Zreče, Slovenia, IBMI participated with two lectures in section Use of research infrastructure ELIXIR Slovenia and participated also in round table on the current challenges of digitization in healthcare.

Conference SAfJR 2023, Ulm, Nemčija

The conference Survival Analysis for Junior Researchers (SAfJR), which took place between September 13 and 15, 2023 in Ulm, was attended by young statisticians at IBMI Bor Vratanar and Damjan Manevski.

Hazards, causality and (non-) Markov event histories

A lecture of Biostatistical Center will take place on Monday, 2nd October, 2023, at 10:00 in "sejna soba" (Vrazov trg 2). The lecture will be held by Prof Jan Beyersmann from Ulm University, Germany.

Trends and inequalities in cancer survival world-wide

A lecture of Biostatistical Center will take place on Friday 10/28/2022, at 10:30 in "srednja predavalnica" at UL MF (Korytkova 2). The lecture shall be given by Professor of Global Public Health Claudia Allemani from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK.

Assessing performance of counterfactual prediction models for time-to-event outcomes

A lecture of Biostatistical Center will take place on Tuesday 6/7/2022, at 10:00 at IBMI. The lecture shall be given  by prof. Nan van Geloven from Leiden University, Netherlands.

 

About IBMI

Institute for Biostatistics and Medical Informatics (IBMI), formerly Institute for BioMedical Informatics (so still IBMI) was founded by the Faculty of Medicine as a result of a need for a unit which would perform, or coordinate, tasks related to data analysis and providing information, relevant for research in medicine. The programme of the institute, and its development, have been adjusting thorugh time to changes in financing and technological progress, but the basic aim remain the same: to support research in medicine.
