Lectures of Prof Andersen

Next week (May 16th - 20th), our institute is hosting  prof. Per Kragh Andersen from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.  During his visit, he shall give 3 lectures.

 

On Wednesday, May 18th,  he shall give a lecture entitled "Survival analysis with counting processes". The lecture is a part of the doctoral programme Statistics.

Time and place: 17:15 to 19:45, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kardeljeva ploščad 5, classroom 21.

 

On Thursday, May 19th, he shall give a lecture entitled "Recurrent events". The lecture is a part of the doctoral programme Statistics.

Time and place:  10:30 to 12:30, IBMI, Vrazov trg 2.

 

On Thursday, May 19th, he shall give a lecture entitled  "Measures of lost years of life". This is a regular lecture of the Biostatistical center.

Time and place:  13:00, IBMI, Vrazov trg 2.

 

 

 

 

About IBMI

Institute for Biostatistics and Medical Informatics (IBMI), formerly Institute for BioMedical Informatics (so still IBMI) was founded by the Faculty of Medicine as a result of a need for a unit which would perform, or coordinate, tasks related to data analysis and providing information, relevant for research in medicine. The programme of the institute, and its development, have been adjusting thorugh time to changes in financing and technological progress, but the basic aim remain the same: to support research in medicine.
